Privacy Policy

We keep data handling as restrained as our design: collect little, use it honestly, and make your rights easy to exercise.

Updated June 2026GDPR-aware

This is a demo document for a fictional studio. It is written to read plausibly, not to serve as legal advice.

1. Data we collect

We collect only what we need to run our studio and respond to you. When you submit a brief, book a consultation or email us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, company, email address, phone number and the message itself.

When you browse the site, our servers and analytics record limited technical data: your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view and how you arrived. We do not collect special-category data and we do not ask for more than the task in front of us requires.

2. How we use it

We use your information to reply to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver work we have agreed on, and keep our records accurate. Where you have given consent, we may send occasional updates about our work; you can opt out at any time.

We rely on legitimate interest to operate and improve the site, and on contract necessity to deliver projects. We never sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal effects.

3. Cookies

We use a small set of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your preferences, such as language. Optional analytics cookies help us understand which pages are useful, and only run if you accept them.

You can manage or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings. Blocking optional cookies will not affect your ability to use the core site.

4. Sharing and retention

We share data only with trusted processors who help us run the business, such as hosting, email and analytics providers, all under data-processing agreements. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, then delete or anonymise it.

Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction of anything inaccurate, deletion, restriction or portability, and you can object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe required by law, and you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

6. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to privacy@builtlt.example. We aim to reply within a few working days. You can also reach us through the contact page.
